Conflicts and disputes arise because "everyone is right"
This morning, the news came in that "Ohtani achieves unprecedented 50-50!"
It seems that extra editions were distributed all over Japan.
There seems to be a big fuss in America and Japan (and maybe only in Japan).
Suddenly, I think.
80 years ago, Japan was in the midst of World War II and information censorship was in place.
For most of the population, propaganda
"America is a hated enemy country" and Americans are "brutes",
It was a cruel and merciless act.
In that hated enemy country, America, a young Japanese man has become a big star and an American hero.
Eighty years ago, who could have imagined what Ohtani would be like today?
Japan's determined and talented young people are in a country where people once killed each other.
This was a sight of his talent shining brilliantly, plunging both countries into a frenzy of joy at the same time.
For today's Japan, the war was 80 years ago (only 80 years have passed since the war ended).
However, if we look at the globe as a whole, the world is still in the midst of war.
The war between Russia and Ukraine is far from ending and is escalating on both sides.
The conflict between Israel and Palestine is also continuing and is getting worse with each passing day.
Although it is rarely broadcast in the Japanese media anymore, Syria and Afghanistan are still in a state of civil war.
There are also conflicts happening all over the world where people are killing each other.
How long will this mutual hatred, this killing among humans where retaliation invites retaliation continue?
Will humans ever stop fighting until the Earth, the source of all life, is destroyed?
Everyone believes in their own sense of "justice" and fights to protect it.
Simply because the other person has a different idea of justice than you,
Will it become a hated enemy worthy of destruction?
In order to get my own "justice" across, do I have to eliminate those who have a different "justice" than me?
Do we have to "eliminate" those who have a different "sense of justice" from our own from the world we live in?
On the other hand, if we look at Japanese organizations, we see that each party asserts their own "righteousness" from their own perspective,
There are conflicts and disputes everywhere.
Although there are no physical battles with weapons to kill each other,
Harassment based on "words," "power," "status," "position," "gender," etc.
Psychologically deadly conflicts and disputes occur here and there within many organizations.
Each has their own "justice."
The "justice" that each of us possesses is proof that we have survived up until now.
Therefore, my own sense of "righteousness" and "justice" are irreplaceable and important to me .
It can be said to be an "identity" that indicates one's own existence.
Everybody is right and nobody is wrong .
Everyone has different experiences, lives different lives,
In the process, we live our lives while nurturing our own sense of "righteousness" and "justice."
There is no one else in this world who has had the exact same experience as me,
What's more, I don't want to be around someone who feels exactly the same way I do, has exactly the same emotions,
No two people can have exactly the same meaning.
Everyone lives with their own unique sense of "righteousness" and "justice."
So it's natural that each person's idea of "righteousness" and "justice" is different,
"Righteousness" and "justice" that are different from your own
Conflicts arise as people try to repaint the truth with their own idea of "righteousness" or "justice."
This means that the conflict will not end until all humans other than yourself are eliminated from this world.
However, humans are creatures who cannot survive alone.
Each of us must be aware of the "righteousness" and "justice" of others who are different from us.
Just being able to get a little closer,
Wouldn't there be less conflict in the world?
Being sympathetic to the "righteousness" and "justice" of others is
It never means changing or letting go of the ``righteousness'' or ``justice'' that you have within yourself.
No one can take away the "righteousness" or "justice" that you have within yourself.
To be me, to live as me,
Because no one can take it away.
