Sold Out [Ended]
Use-of-self "Self-crafting"
-Action learning to develop yourself as a tool for change-

Over the past few years, the world we live in has been surrounded by changes far beyond our imagination, including the global pandemic caused by the spread of the coronavirus, natural disasters such as floods and droughts occurring all over the world as a result of global warming, climate change, and the threat of World War III that began with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The environment in which we live has been changing rapidly and on a massive scale over the past few years, and these changes will likely continue to accelerate and grow in magnitude in the future.

In order to survive in the rapidly changing times to come, we must continue to change ourselves flexibly, whether we like it or not. I believe that in order to survive in the times to come, we no longer have the option of "not changing ourselves."

However, it is not easy to deeply introspect, face your true desires, and transform yourself.

Facing your true desires means looking at your true self as it really is, facing not only the positive but also the negative aspects within yourself, acknowledging and accepting their existence.

This means accepting the existence of ``sides of ourselves that we don't want to see'' or ``parts that we don't want to acknowledge,'' and this brings with it great feelings of fear and loathing.

If we wish to realize a world in which the important people around us can live prosperous lives in this coming era of great change, then we must first transform ourselves and, as participants in that change, change our daily words, actions, and attitudes. This is because, no matter how much we desire change in the people around us and in others, the only thing we can handle and manage is ourselves.

If you truly wish for change to improve the people around you, the workplace where you work, and the organization you belong to, and if you truly wish to bring about change, then nothing will change unless you start with yourself.

During this three-day retreat, participants will "share" with one another in deep dialogue and action learning experiences. Through this, they will be able to deeply introspect themselves in the "here and now," face their true selves, and explore the true desires that drive them. In this way, they will "craft" the new version of themselves that will live in the future.

When this retreat ends and each participant returns to the "field" where they normally live, they will explore together what it means to "use oneself as a tool" to transform the world into a better place, and how they should act, nurturing each other's "self-crafting."

Anyone who has the will and desire to take ownership and make their surroundings, workplace, organization, and society a better place is welcome to participate, regardless of whether they are involved in organizational development or have knowledge of it.

Due to program structure, participation is limited to 12 people, so if you are interested, please apply early.
